Kyrgyzstan sent KGS 15,7M humanitarian aid to ethnic Kyrgyz in Tajikistan, Afghanistan

Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2020. /Kabar/. Many resident suffered as a result of Sardoba Reservoir breakthrough in Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan sent humanitarian aid, Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Zamirbek Askarov said at a briefing.
According to him, assistance worth KGS 15 million 771,300 has been allocated, including KGS 13 million for Uzbekistan and KGS 2 million 681,900 for ethnic Kyrgyz living in Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
"1,000 tons of cement, 100 tons of rice and 10 tons of vegetable oil were sent to Uzbekistan. 25 tons of flour, 4,000 blankets, 550 hygiene products, 2.5 tons of oil and 10 tons of rice were sent to ethnic Kyrgyz living in the Little and Big Pamirs," the emergency minister said.
