Kyrgyzstan resumes work of two checkpoints on border with Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2021. / Kabar /. Ken-Bulun-Avtodorozhnyi and Tokmok-Avtodorozhnyi border checkpoints on the border with Kazakhstan have resumed the passage of persons and vehicles across the state border.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Border Service said that as of today, 5 checkpoints are functioning on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border: Ak-Tilek – Avtodorozhnyi, Chaldybar – Avtodorozhnyi, Ken-Bulun – Avtodorozhnyi, Tokmok – Avtodorozhnyi in Chui Oblast and Chon-Kapka – Avtodorozhnyi in Talas Oblast.
Freight rail trains are passed through the Kaindy-Avtodorozhnyi border checkpoint.
The Ak-Tilek – Avtodorozhnyi, Chaldybar – Avtodorozhnyi and Chon-Kapka – Avtodorozhnyi carry out passage of citizens and cargo vehicles (goods and commodities).
The passage through the Ken-Bulun-Avtodorozhnyi is open for citizens and vehicles, as well as only for the passage of empty trucks from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan.
The passage through the Tokmok-Avtodorozhnyi is open only for citizens and vehicles (cargo and goods are not transported through the checkpoint).
The admittance of persons and vehicles between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan is carried out with restrictions imposed in accordance with the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as presence of certificates with a negative result of PCR test for COVID -19, valid for 72 hours.
State border checkpoints are functioning in normal mode.
