Kyrgyzstan reports no new coronavirus-linked deaths

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. No one COVID-19-related fatalities was registered in Kyrgyzstan over the past 24 hours, Deputy Health Minister Mademin Karatyev told during a daily news briefing Tuesday. He noted that a total of 1 thousand 57 Kyrgyzstanis have died from novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the virus. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Tuesday 119 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total cases registered in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic to 43,245. A total of 310 cured and discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, increasing the recovered cases to 36,925. Currently, 1,021 COVID-19 patients are still in hospitals and 4,563 patients are receiving treatment at home. According to Karatayev, the most high cases of the virus were registered on July 6 - 26 and starting from July 27 there is a decline.
