Kyrgyzstan reports more recoveries from novel coronavirus

Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. At a daily news briefing at the Government House, Head of the Public Health Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova reported that another 178 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered from COVID-19 in the past day. A total of 40,336 patients across the country have cured of novel coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. Kyrgyzstan added on Wednesday 87 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of infections to 44,613. Currently, 535 patients are in hospitals across the republic, and 2,373 are receiving treatment at home. The country’s death toll from COVID-19 has reached 1,063, as one more patient died in the past day.
