Kyrgyzstan reports 83 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Jan. 4, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 83 new COVID-19 cases raising the tally of infections to 81,388. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the new cases were discovered out of 1,256 COVID-19 medical tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours. The new cases included 33 in the capital city Bishkek, 17 cases in Chui Oblast, and the rest of cases were detected in other regions. The headquarters also reported 165 more recoveries and one more death, bringing the total recoveries to 76,728 and the death toll to 1,360. A total of 955 patients are being treated in hospitals, 53 of them in intensive care, while 1,424 patients are receiving treatment at home.
