Kyrgyzstan reports 73 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s number of COVID-19 cases has reached 45,072 with 73 new infections reported on Wednesday. Ainura Akmatova, head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic told at a briefing that out of the new cases 7 are medical workers, raising the total of contracted medical workers to 3,181. Akmatova said that 107 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, raising the tally of recoveries to 41,210. Currently, 509 patients are being treated in hospitals, while 1,849 people are receiving treatment at home. The death toll in the country stands at 1,063, no death was reported from the virus in the previous 24 hours.
