Kyrgyzstan reports 58 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 58 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, raising the total infections to 85,171 nationwide. According to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, 111 more recoveries were registered over the past day, taking the count to 81,825 or 96,1%. The pandemic has so far claimed 1,433 lives in Kyrgyzstan since March 18, including one death in the past 24 hours, the headquarters said. Currently, 434 coronavirus patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, with 31 of them in critical condition. Another 544 patients are receiving treatment at home. 3,194 tests for the virus have been carried out in the country over the past day.
