Kyrgyzstan reports 568 new COVID-19 cases, 56,738 in total

Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2020 / Kabar /. The number of COVID-19 infections in Kyrgyzstan has reached 56,738, with 568 new cases registered in the last 24 hours. According to the latest report of the country’s Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, among the new cases 9 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,597. 380 patients recovered over the past day, raising the total recoveries in the country to 48,223. Currently, there are 5,408 active cases in the country: 3,398 of them are in hospitals and 3,454 patients are receiving treatment at home. Meanwhile, two more deaths were reported, raising the nationwide death toll to 1,136.
