Kyrgyzstan reports 304 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Aug. 12, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 304 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, raising the total diagnosed cases to 40,759. Ainura Akmatova, the head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry told a daily news briefing that 14 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 2,981,including 2,242 recoveries. She said that 263 patients of COVID-19 have recovered over the past day, bringing the total recoveries to 33,027. The virus-related death tally climbed to 1,484 with 6 more recorded in the previous 24 hours.
