Kyrgyzstan reports 283 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, May 12, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan registered on Wednesday 283 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 99,316, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. The new cases included 158 in the capital city of Bishkek, 75 in Chui Oblast, 18 in Issyk-Kul Oblast and the rest are in other regions. The headquarters reported 289 new recoveries and 8 virus related deaths over the past day, taking the total recoveries to 92,409 and the death toll to 1,675. Meanwhile, 1,755 people are hospitalized across the country and 2,472 patients are receiving treatment at home. The country conducted 4,159 COVID-19 medical tests during the last 24 hours.
