Kyrgyzstan reports 189 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Dec. 29, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday 189 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 80,843. Among the new cases, 65 were confirmed in the capital city of Bishkek, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19. The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 75,624 after 290 more were added, while the death toll reached 1,354 with one more death reported over the past day. Meanwhile, 1,165 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 1,791 patients are receiving treatment at home. The country has conducted 2,327 tests in the past 24 hours.
