Kyrgyzstan reports 182 COVID-19 cases, 42,507 in total

Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 182 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total caseload to 42,507. Nurbolot Usenbaev, the Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan said at online news briefing that of the total number of infected 3,059 are medical workers, including 14 new cases. He also reported that 289 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals over the past day, bringing the total recoveries to 35,486. Meanwhile one more virus-related death recorded in the previous 24 hours, taking the death toll to 1,055. In addition, 1309 patients are in hospitals receiving treatment.
