Kyrgyzstan records 58 new COVID-19 cases, 84,646 in total

Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2021 / Kabar /. The number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 84,646 after the country recorded 58 new cases over past 24 hours. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the most of the cases have been registered in Bishkek city – 28,337 and the least in Naryn Oblast – 2,358. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 115 more recoveries were reported, pushing the national count 81,102. The headquarters reported two new COVID-19 related deaths over the past day, taking the death toll to 1,414. Currently, 545 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 650 patients - at home. The country conducted 2193 tests in the last 24 hours. COVID-19 was first detected in Kyrgyzstan on March 18, 2020 and its first death was reported on April 2 the same year.
