Kyrgyzstan to receive COVID-19 vaccine in late February

A vaccine against COVID-19 coronavirus infection will arrive in Kyrgyzstan at the end of February, Health Minister of the republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev said at the opening of the Children’s Ward Department of Chui Territorial Hospital. "It is alleged that the third wave of coronavirus is coming soon. I contacted representatives of the World Health Organization today, and we can expect the vaccine as early as the end of February," the minister said. Beishenaliyev did not specify what kind of vaccine will arrive in the country.
