Kyrgyzstan, Qatar debate prospects for cooperation

Bishkek, Nov. 13, 2020. /Kabar/. The Qatari capital city of Doha hosted a meeting between Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar Chyngyz Eshimbekov and Minister of Trade and Industry of Qatar Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported on Friday. There was an exchange of views on the state and prospects of Kyrgyz-Qatari cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres. Special attention was paid to intensifying cooperation in preparation for joint events in 2021, including the Second Meeting of the Kyrgyz-Qatari Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Eshimbekov briefed the Qatari side about the situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, which has developed following the parliamentary elections on Oct. 4, 2020.
