Kyrgyzstan participates in Int’l Forum on strengthening EU-Central Asia partnership

Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2020. /Kabar/. Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for Information Technologies and Communication (SCITC) Altynbek Ismailov took part in the International Forum "European Union and Central Asia Dialogue on Partnership for Propserity”. According to the SCITC press service, the Forum discussed the priorities for strengthening the EU-Central Asia partnership in the context of post-COVID-19 recovery, the conditions for the future inter-regional high-level economic dialogue, key EU initiatives, in particular the European Green Deal, priorities for a sustainable and efficient business environment in Central Asia, as well as digitalization issues. During the panel session "Digital transformation as the driving force of economic development", experts considered the issues of digital technology and innovation, provision of e-government services, acceleration of digital economy, priorities of the EU digital agenda for Central Asia, as well as the problems of the digital divide. In his speech, Altynbek Ismailov told about the Concept of digital transformation "Digital Kyrgyzstan 2019-2023", as well as the main projects that are being implemented in the framework of the Concept. In addition, the chairman touched upon the work of the Tunduk system of interagency electronic interaction, as well as the public services portal.
