Kyrgyzstan logs 283 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, May 28, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Friday 283 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 103,866 the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. The headquarters also reported 391 new recoveries and 7 virus related deaths over the past day, taking the total recoveries to 97,542 and the death toll to 1,788. Meanwhile, 1,658 people are in hospitals across the country and 1,854 patients are receiving treatment at home. The country conducted 5,028 COVID-19 medical tests during the last 24 hours. Kyrgyzstan started mass vaccination for COVID-19 on March 29. About 80,000 people were vaccinated so far.
