Kyrgyzstan confirms 124 new COVID-19

Bishkek, Jan. 5, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday 124 new COVID-19 cases raising the tally of infections to 81,512. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the new cases were discovered out of 1,178 COVID-19 medical tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours. The headquarters also reported 227 more recoveries bringing the total recoveries to 76,955. The death toll stands at 1,360, no new deaths were registered over the past day. A total of 888 patients are being treated in hospitals, 47 of them in intensive care, while 1,385 patients are receiving treatment at home.
