Kyrgyzstan confirms 104 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan confirmed 104 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, raising the tally of infections to 46,355. Nurbolot Usenbaev, the deputy minister of health of Kyrgyzstan said that among the new cases two are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3241. He noted that the cases of the virus have been increased in the last week and the most of cases are registered in southern regions. Usenbaev also reported the recovery of 166 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 42,619. Meanwhile one death from COVID-19 has been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide death toll to 1,064. Currently, 700 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,520 patients - at home.
