Kyrgyzstan, China discuss implementation of joint projects under Belt and Road Initiative

Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2020. /Kabar/. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in China held on Wednesday a videoconference with the Institute of East European, Russian and Central Asian Studies (IEERCAS) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences entitled “Development of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations of all-round strategic partnership in the current conditions". According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the videoconference, Kyrgyz Ambassador to China Kanaiym Baktygulova spoke about the stabilization of the domestic political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, and stated the commitment of the republic to all its international obligations, as well as the observance of continuity in the development of friendly relations with its foreign partners. She especially noted that cooperation with China is one of the main priorities in Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy. Implementation of joint projects under the “One Belt-One Road” Initiative, cooperation in the sphere of regional security, prospects of Kyrgyz-Chinese bilateral relations were also discussed. Representatives of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences expressed hope for further stable development of the Kyrgyz Republic. Print
