Kyrgyzstan adds 98 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, March 31, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan registered 98 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 88,374 as of Monday morning, according to data of the country’s Health Ministry. The Central Asian country reported 86 more recoveries, taking the national count of COVID-19 recoveries to 84,809. One patient reportedly died, pushing the death toll to 1,499. The data shows that 4,246 medical workers contracted the virus since the pandemic with 4,197 of them having recovered. Currently, 503 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, while another 616 patients are receiving treatment at home. A total of 5,388 tests have been conducted over the past day.
