Kyrgyzstan adds 88 new COVID-19 cases, 45,630 in total

Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s tally of COVID-19 cases reached 45,630 on Wednesday with 88 new cases reported in the last day, according to the report from the republican headquarters on COVID-19. The report said that 5 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the tally of contracted medical workers to 3208. The headquarters also announced the recovery of 108 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 41,904. It has reported no death from COVID-19 during the past 24 hours. The nationwide death toll stands at 1,063. Currently, 539 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,677 patients - at home. According to data of the headquarters, the current recovery rate of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan is 91,8 percent and the fatality rate is 2,3 percent.
