Kyrgyzstan adds 420 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 26, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Monday 420 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 56,170. Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told at a press conference at the Kabar Agency that among the new cases 13 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3588, including 3,280 recoveries. He reported the recovery of 227 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 47,843. The death toll stands at 1,134, no death was registered over the past day. Currently, 3,399 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,274 patients - at home. “The political events that took place in the country had an impact on the growth of the disease,” Beishenaliev said.
