Kyrgyzstan adds 361 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 9, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Tuesday 361 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 8,847. Head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said that among the newly infected 83 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,370 including 532 recoveries, she added. Akmatova said that 70 patients have been discharged from hospitals per day and in total 3,053 patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 had recovered from the disease since the outbreak of the virus. She also reported 4 new virus-related deaths, raising the total number of death toll to 116. Meanwhile, 610 people remained hospitalized, 14 patients are in intensive care. In addition, 5068 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
