Kyrgyzstan adds 272 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, April 23, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Friday 272 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 93,278. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 163 more patients recovered over the past day, raising the total recoveries in the country to 87,717. The headquarters also reported 7 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 1,573. Currently, 1,406 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, 56 of them are in critical condition and 1,609 patients - at home. The health workers conducted 3,670 PCR tests in the last 24 hours. Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 using China-donated vaccine. To-date, 14,861 people has been vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan.
