Kyrgyzstan adds 164 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 164 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, raising the tally of infections to 47,799. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 reported that 9 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,336. The headquarters reported 123 patients recovered over the past 24 hours, bringing the number of recovered ones to 43,644 since the outbreak of the disease in Kyrgyzstan. There are 1,195 COVID-19 patients being treated in hospital at present and 1,439 people are receiving treatment at home. The virus-related death tally remained 1,066, with no new deaths reported in the previous 24 hours.
