Kyrgyzstan adds 124 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, April 6, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday reported 124 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections in the country to 89,277.
Deputy Minister of Health of the country Uluk-Bek Bekturganov told at a briefing that 117 more recoveries were recorded over the past day, taking the national count of COVID-19 recoveries to 85,388.
Two patients reportedly died in the last 24 hours in Bishkek city, pushing the death toll to 1,509.
4,274 medical workers contracted the virus since the pandemic with 4,211 of them having recovered.
The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients reached 662, including 25 in intensive care units, while another 763 patients are receiving treatment at home.
A total of 4,749 lab tests have been carried out in Kyrgyzstan over the past day.
