Kyrgyzstan’s tourist potential presented at book fair in Minsk

Bishkek, Feb. 19, 2021 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is participating in the 28th Minsk International Book Fair, which is being held on Feb. 18-21 under the auspices of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus. The Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus said that over 280 exhibits from 20 countries - Kyrgyzstan, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Moldova, Pakistan, Palestine, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine - are represented at the fair. The pavilion of Kyrgyzstan features the best Kyrgyz books - the trilogy of Manas, Semetei, Seitek, books by writer Chyngyz Aitmatov and other Kyrgyz authors. First Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Maxim Ryzhenkov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Ermek Ibraimov, Special Representative of Russian President on International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, as well as permanent plenipotentiaries of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. In addition, the Kyrgyz books are also presented at the central exponent, the Commonwealth of Independent States, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the international organization whose motto is “The book unites people and countries”. The Embassy also presented a table with tourism literature, booklets with tourist sites and flyers with the addresses of Internet resources about the tourism potential of the country.
