Kyrgyzstan’s Jalal-Abad and Uzbekistan’s Namangan became twin regions

Tashkent, March 30, 2021 / Kabar /. A solemn ceremony was held in the park "Uch favvora" ("Three fountains") on the occasion of the declaration of Namangan Oblast of Uzbekistan and Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan as twin regions. As part of the ceremony, a monument was erected in the park and the national flag of Kyrgyzstan was raised on the occasion of this historic day. The event was attended by the leaders of Jalal-Abad and Namangan Oblasts, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibragim Zhunusov and representatives of the public and the media. The delegation of Jalal-Abad region arrived in Namangan today with a two-day friendly visit. Recently a delegation from Namangan visited Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan.
