Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 74,373 with 440 new ones

Bishkek, Dec. 4, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 74,373, after 440 new cases were reported on Friday. The new cases included 109 in the capital city Bishkek, 162 cases in Chui Oblast, and the rest of cases were detected in other regions. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the new cases were discovered out of 2,977 COVID-19 medical tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours. Among the new cases 12 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,956. The headquarters also reported 524 more recoveries and four more deaths, bringing the total recoveries to 66,113 and the death toll to 1,285. A total of 2,635 patients are being treated in hospitals, 120 of them in intensive care, while 3,528 patients are receiving treatment at home.
