Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 71,171

Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the country's total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases hit 71,171, after 427 new cases were reported on Thursday. The new cases were discovered out of 1,293 PCR tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours. Among the new cases 16 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3,858. Meanwhile, 496 more recoveries were registered over the past day, taking the count to 62,544. Six new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,251. Currently, 2,851 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country, 115 of them are in critical condition and 3,832 patients - at home.
