Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 68,316 with 422 new cases

Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 tally reached 68,316 on Thursday as 422 new cases were registered across the country in the past 24 hours, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. New cases included 130 in the capital city Bishkek, 93 cases in Chui Oblast, while the other cases were detected in the other regions. The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 59,362 after 516 more were added over the past day. The headquarters also reported five new deaths, taking national count to 1,217. 3,136 out of the active COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in hospitals and 3,980 patients - at home. Kyrgyz health workers conducted 3,060 PCR tests in the last 24 hours. The total number of contracted medical workers is 3,776, including 12 cases in the last 24 hours.
