Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases exceed 51,000

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2020 / Kabar /. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 51,020 on Friday, after an overnight registration of 431 cases. The republican headquarters on COVID-19 said that the 20 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 3508. It has reported the recovery of 208 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 45,288. Four new deaths are reported over the last 24 hours, in total the pandemic has so far claimed the lives of 1,103 people in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, 2,202 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,951 patients - at home.
