Kyrgyz women leaders to take part in Tashkent Forum on women in SCO space

Tashkent, April 5, 2021 / Kabar /. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan will take part in the Tashkent Forum of Women Leaders of the SCO countries, the press service of the SCO Public Diplomacy Center in Uzbekistan told Kabar. The main reports at the forum will be made by President of the Congress of Women of the Kyrgyz Republic, Secretary General of the Union of Business Incubators and Innovation Centers of the Kyrgyz Republic Zamira Akbagysheva, former Deputy Secretary General of the SCO in 2018-2021, Kyrgyz Republic Aizada Subakozhoeva, First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Aliza Soltonbekova and Head of the Gender Issues Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zharkynay Amrakulova. The main goal of the forum is to consider the role of women leaders of the 21st century in the implementation of socio-political reforms in the international arena in ensuring the Sustainable Development Goals, economic, political, social and civil rights of women, as well as the development of scientific and practical proposals and recommendations based on the positive experience of states - SCO members in the above areas. Particular attention is paid to the issue of the role of women leaders and youth in the conduct of cultural and public diplomacy. In particular, the role of the SCO in the world, the contribution of the organization to social development, the activities of the SCO in Uzbekistan, the role of women and youth in the conduct of people's and cultural diplomacy, in interstate relations will be considered. The event will take place on April 7 via videoconference.
