Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office intends to develop co-op with OSCE in field of digitalization

Bishkek, April 1, 2021. / Kabar / . Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic intends to develop cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in the field of digitalization.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Prosecutor General’s Office reported that Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, Ambassador Pierre Von Arxhanded over technical equipment to the principal oversight body of the republic as part of support for the activities of the Prosecutor General’s Officeto form the electronic database of an automated information system "Unified Register of Crimes and Misdemeanors (URCM)”.
The new equipment will help in the collection and analysis of criminal statistics within the URCM system. It will also allow the General Prosecutor's Office to create analytical tools with the ultimate goal of preventing crimes and ensuring the rule of law.
During the meeting, Deputy Prosecutor General Turusbek Ishenaliyev noted the positive trends in cooperation between the main oversight body and the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, aimed at increasing the effectiveness of work in fulfilling international obligations of the republic to combat corruption, as well as to further improve the work of the prosecution bodies of Kyrgyzstan within an automated information system "Unified Register of Crimes and Misdemeanors” and the implementation of electronic document management in the prosecution bodies.
As a result of the meeting, Ambassador Pierre Von Arx was awarded a departmental medal for fruitful cooperation and due to completion of his mission of the Head of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.
