Kyrgyz, Kazakh railways discuss organizing container trains China - Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 9, 2021 / Kabar /. A delegation of the Kyrgyz Temir Zholu State Enterprise headed by General Director Vasily Dashkov paid working visit to Kazakhstan. According to the press service of the enterprise, within the framework of the working visit, Vasily Dashkov discussed with Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazastan Temir Zholy JSC Kanat Almagambetov the issue of organizing container trains in the direction of China - Kyrgyzstan and delay of containers at the Altynkol station (Kazakhstan), heading from China to the Kyrgyz Republic. Also, the sides considered the issue of technical assistance to the Kyrgyz railway in carrying out flaw detection of railway tracks, the report said. In turn, the Kazakh side accepted for consideration the proposals of the Kyrgyz Temir Zholu and in the near future will provide information on the conditions for organizing container trains from China to the Kyrgyz Republic. The sides agreed to resolve other issues in the near future.
