Kyrgyz health minister and Chinese ambassador discuss delivery of second batch of COVID-19 vaccine

Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met today with Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen, where they discussed support for the health sector in vaccinating the population against the novel coronavirus infection. According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting, the ambassador announced the readiness of China to provide Kyrgyzstan with another batch of Sinopharm vaccines in the amount of 150 thousand doses free of charge. The Kyrgyz minister expressed gratitude to the Chinese for the provision of vaccines in the amount of 150 thousand doses in March this year, and other assistance to combat the coronavirus infection. China donated the first batch of vaccines in March 22, 2021 in the amount of 150 thousand doses.
