Kyrgyz Government, EU discuss cooperation issues

Bishkek, March 17, 2021. / Kabar /. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Karmyshakov held on Wednesday a meeting with Head of the European Union Delegation, Ambassador Edward Auer and staff of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current and future cooperation between the EU and the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular, the budget support programs, public finance management issues, opportunities to increase the share of EU budget support to Kyrgyzstan within the 2021-2027 Multiannual Indicative Programme, as well as the main results of the European Union –Kyrgyzstan Sub-Committee Meeting on Trade and Investment held on March 15, 2021. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to promote issues and provide financial and technical assistance from the European Union.
