Kyrgyz FM Kazakbaev meets with Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2021 / Kabar /. Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen met on Friday with Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev, the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan said. During the meeting, Ambassador Du Dewen conveyed a congratulatory message from China’s State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi to Ruslan Kazakbaev on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. The Chinese ambassador noted that in order to further support the Kyrgyz side in its combating coronavirus, the Chinese side decided to donate COVID-19 vaccines to Kyrgyzstan. This decision reflects the friendly attitude of the Chinese people towards the Kyrgyz people and shows the high level of Chinese-Kyrgyz relations of comprehensive strategic partnership. In turn, Foreign Minister Kazakbaev thanked for congratulations, emphasizing that the Kyrgyz side attaches special attention to the development of relations with China and will make every effort to protect and strengthen the Kyrgyz-Chinese friendship. On behalf of the Kyrgyz Government, he expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for its intention to provide coronavirus vaccines.
