Kyrgyz FM, CCTS head discuss situation with COVID-19 in Turkic Council member states

Bishkek, July 15, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov held Wednesday phone conversation with Baghdad Amreyev, the Secretary General of the Turkic Council. According to the Kyrgyz MFA press service, the Kyrgyz top diplomat and the CCTS (Cooperation Council of Turkic - Speaking States) secretary general discussed the current situation in Kyrgyzstan and other member states of the Turkic Council to combat the further spread of coronavirus infection, as well as ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance between Turkic-speaking countries and to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The sides expressed confidence in the effectiveness of measures taken by the Turkic states to protect public health and restore the socio-economic sphere. Also, views were exchanged on topical issues on the agenda of the Turkic Council.
