Kyrgyz films win all awards of International Film Festival in Turkey

Bishkek, Nov. 23, 2020. /Kabar/. Three films from Kyrgyzstan became winners of the Future Communicators International Film Festival held in Turkey’s Istanbul city. Documentaries The Ancestral Heritage by Amanat Rahmanova, Slippery Road of Gulnara Aitmamatova and Lunara Jeenbekova’s Twins are Born, After Nine Children won awards of the film festival in Turkey. Directors of all three films are graduates of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University Manas. Under the conditions of the pandemic, this year's film festival is held online. Many films were submitted for participation in this festival, but three films from Kyrgyzstan became the winners of international contest. At the end of November, winner of the festival – Slippery Road film will participate in the competition of the Russia Festival in Yekaterinburg. The film has already been selected for participation in the competition of the Umut (Hope) Forum of Young Cinema of CIS countries, the terms of which will be provided later.
