Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan takes active part in organizing visit of Jalal-Abad delegation to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, April 1, 2021 / Kabar /. The embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan took an active part in the preparation and organization of a friendly visit of the delegation of Jalal-Abad Oblast of the Kyrgyz Republic to Namangan Oblast of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Tashkent told Kabar. Following the results of the past state visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Uzbekistan on March 11-12, 2021, as well as in order to implement the Roadmap for further deepening and expanding cooperation between Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan and Namangan Oblast of Uzbekistan, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a visit of the delegation of Jalal-Abad Oblast, headed by governor Absatar Syrgabaev, to Namangan Oblast was organized on March 30 - 31, 2021. During the official meeting of governor of Jalal-Abad Oblast Syrgabaev with the khokim of Namangan Oblast Shavkatjon Abdurazakov, sides discussed cooperation between the two oblasts in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Zhunusov. In his welcoming speech, the ambassador noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between the border regions of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and also briefly informed the participants about the agreements reached between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the field of delimitation and demarcation of the state border following the state visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhaparov to Uzbekistan. After the official meeting, a solemn ceremony of raising the state flag of Kyrgyzstan was organized in the memorial complex "Uch favora" ("Three fountains") in the city of Namangan. Continuing the official part of the visit, on March 31, 2021, the business forum was held in the city of Namangan with the participation of more than 40 representatives of the business communities of the two countries. Within the framework of the business forum, B2B and B2G meetings were also held.
