Kyrgyz Embassy in China holds reception to mark 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in China held a reception in Beijing on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. The event was attended by leaders and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and other state bodies of China, ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries and permanent representatives of international organizations in Beijing, scientific and business circles, public and political figures, and others. In her welcoming speech, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China Kanaiym Baktygulova informed the guests about the current political and socio-economic situation in the republic, the main points of relations with China and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral cooperation under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. The ambassador thanked China for its support to Kyrgyzstan and congratulated the Chinese side on the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party, noting its leading role in the formation of modern China. Main guest from the Chinese side, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Le Yucheng also spoke and congratulated the brotherly Kyrgyz people on the anniversary date. He noted that as one of the significant members of the world community, Kyrgyzstan plays a constructive role in the international arena. The vice FM of China expressed confidence that under the leadership of President Sadyr Zhaparov the Kyrgyz people will surely achieve great results. During the event, the guests tasted dishes of the national Kyrgyz cuisine, toured a special photo exhibition dedicated to the solemn date, and received handouts about the tourism and investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic.
