Jeenbekov gets acquainted with medical masks production process in Chui Oblast

Bishkek, July 16, 2020 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov got acquainted with the activities of Textile trans LLC factory in Chui Oblast, the press service of the president reported. Founder of the enterprise, Almazbek Abdraev, informed that as a civil initiative and in order to preserve jobs during a pandemic, the factory was quickly re-profiled for the production of personal protective equipment that can be used for medical purposes. In particular, equipment was purchased for the production of three types of medical masks: KN 95 respirator masks - five-layer, KN 95 respirator masks with a valve - five-layer, three-layer medical masks. The production capacity of the factory, depending on the type of masks, is up to 100 thousand pieces per day. At present, everything is ready to launch the lines, but Abdraev said that there are issues on obtaining certificates for the production from the relevant government agencies. In addition, there are problems at the border with the delivery of raw materials for the manufacture of medical masks. Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted with satisfaction the social orientation of this enterprise in the current situation. He emphasized that in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection, the role of entrepreneurs is important, contributing to the fight against the disease. The head of state noted that the domestic light industry and pharmaceutical industry have the potential to meet the demand of medical institutions and the public for personal protective equipment and medical products. Similar initiatives deserve full support in the current environment. In this regard, the President assured that the government will be recommended to resolve issues that hinder the full production of medical devices.
