Israeli Ambassador presents tablets to children from needy families

Bishkek, March 18, 2021 / Kabar /. The Israeli ambassador presented tablets to children from poor families, the Bishkek Mayor's Office said. The handing over ceremony was held during the meeting of acting Mayor of Bishkek Baktybek Kudaibergenov with Ambassador of Israel to the Kyrgyz Republic Liat Vekselman. The meeting was attended by chairman of the Jewish diaspora of Kyrgyzstan V. Kritsman and vice mayor for social issues Aizhan Chynybaeva. At the meeting, they discussed issues of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as strengthening relations between the cities of Haifa and Bishkek. Then, as part of the visit, 15 students of the capital's schools from low-income families received tablets from the Israeli Embassy as a gift. Kudaibergenov noted the importance in the development of cooperation and thanked the ambassador for the visit.
