India plans to export wine and vodka from Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 10, 2021 /Kabar/. President of the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) Asif Iqbal, during a press conference at the Kabar Agency, announced his intention to export wine and vodka products from Kyrgyzstan to India.
He said that within the framework of the official visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the large multifunctional Ayu Holding company.
“Following the results of negotiations with the management of the holding and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed,” he said.
In addition, Iqbal indicated that it is also planned to export dried fruits, honey, medicinal herbs and spices asafoetida from Kyrgyzstan to India.
“We also plan to open a large-scale production of bars in Kyrgyzstan, which will include honey, dried fruits and nuts,” added the IETO president.
In addition, he noted that the Indian side is interested in cooperation in the field of summer and winter tourism, as well as education. “So, we are planning to build a training center for training specialists in the field of agricultural equipment. However, these issues will be discussed in more detail in November 2021, when we return to Kyrgyzstan with a large delegation,” Iqbal explained.
IETO president also announced his intention to hold a forum of "Indian-Kyrgyz Innovations" in Kyrgyzstan in the spring of 2022.
