First Deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan meets with ambassador of Turkmenistan

Bishkek, July 7, 2021. / Kabar /. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Shadurdy Meredov, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level following the official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Turkmenistan on June 27-28, 2021. Niyazaliev and Meredov were unanimous in the opinion that the visit was another historical stage in the development of Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations based on strategic partnership. The sides also considered the issues of deepening trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of infrastructure projects, including trade, investment and energy supplies. Particular attention is paid to the preparation and conduct of bilateral and multilateral events at the highest and high levels.
