EDB comments on Kyrgyz Railway modernization project

The modernization of the Kyrgyz Railway requires the presence of strategic partners and the project is still under development, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Amangeldy Isenov said during an online briefing. He specified that the overhaul of the railway is a complicated project. "The project is still being developed,” the deputy chairman added. According to Isenov, the project on Manas Airport modernization is also under development. "These projects need a strategic partner. I can't say the sum because there is no project documentation, from which a certain amount will be formed," he said.
