Direct flight on Budapest-Bishkek route planned to be launched

A direct Budapest-Bishkek flight could possibly be launched in the near future, Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev said at a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó, who had arrived in Bishkek for an official visit. "Another important agreement is the opening of a direct flight on the Budapest-Bishkek route. There is head of the famous Hungarian Wizz Air airline among us today, who is negotiating with the Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan on the launching of the Bishkek-Budapest direct flight. This is very important. Issuance of visas, direct flight - all this will create very good conditions for movement and rapprochement of citizens of the two countries. All this has a positive impact on the development of investment and tourist potential of our country. We are also considering the possibility of opening Abu-Dhabi-Bishkek flight by Wizz Air, which will open a great potential for Kyrgyzstan's access to the Arab region,” Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev added.
