Delegation from Uzbekistan's Fergana arrives in Batken Oblast

Bishkek, June 22, 2021. / Kabar / . Governor of Kyrgyzstan's Batken Oblast Abdikarim Alimbayev received on Tuesday a delegation from Fergana Region of Uzbekistan. The delegation was headed by Head of Fergana Region Khairullo Bazarov. The meeting was organized for the purpose of friendly cooperation in the field of tourism development of the two regions. It was attended by representatives of relevant departments and enterprises of the oblast, heads of regions and tourism companies, as well as cultural figures and youth of both regions of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The delegation, led by head of Batken and Fergana Regions Alimbayev and Bazarov, took part in the opening ceremony of the tourist season at Kurban-Kul resort in Kadamzhai region. Further, the Kyrgyz-Uzbek delegation held meetings with the local population in the Uzbek enclave of Shakhimardan.
